5 Playlists for Halloween

The following are playlists of real music for Halloween that will take the place of the howling, yawning, screaming, and scaring sound effects that adorn peoples yards and parties come the end of October.  These will make your get together or home on beggar’s night more memorable than hanging sheets in the trees with motion sensor moaning devices.  These playlists cost nothing to those of the ‘I cannot put together a list of music for anything’ type.

List number one is called slacker radio.  This list is a rocker slash shocker list that will keep people bouncing, banging, and in the case of the kid with the empty candy bag, possibly running in the other direction when they hear the Misfits front man hit the chorus right after the drum fill.  Also featured are rockers from before the Misfits, but all fit the bill of slacker radio for certain.

Next is a Halloween list featuring Prince and other unlooked for artists that will keep your night’s visitors on their toes not knowing what will be next to come.  This playlist has 273 songs alike to the previous description, offering music through the night with no repeats, depending on the length of your gathering of course, or perhaps the age of the gatherers.

If you like spook and symphony then this dramatic list is for you.  There are some classics, as well as less known artists and tracks to follow.  Inviting someone you want accompanied by an over the top soundtrack, old lovers and such, play this list at your party.

This next bit from Rhapsody, unless you want to spend ten bucks on an account, will only be 25 songs long, but is still perfect for the party before the trick and treat kids start showing up.  Or buy the account and keep the music going into the after party.

The last list comes from a provider that supplies video as well.  The music you get with this last option is just as spook and loud as the first option, but the music is more from today’s play list rather than your parents.  Or perhaps from your kid’s playlist rather than yours, the music is newer, but the shock value is still there whether you want to bounce heads all night or potentially send kids running across the yard due to sheer scream and volume.

Any of these playlists could accompany a night filled with candy and random scary.
